Traveling with diamond rings or
diamond jewelry

Always keep your diamonds with you.
Do not pack your diamond jewelry in your luggage that you plan to
check in or that a hotel porter may carry.

Do not leave your diamond jewelry
in your hotel room. Most hotels offer safety deposit boxes that
are more secure than the ones available in hotel rooms.

If you do not plan to wear your
diamond jewelry, it may be better to purchase a body pouch that is
carried under your clothing (concealed). If you intend to go
sightseeing, do not carry any valuables especially diamond
jewelry.

Take a picture of the diamond
jewelry that you will be taking with you and have the photo dated
and notarized (if allowed in your state) for customs officials and
insurance purposes.
