and humidity extremes like very cold or very hot places.

from one another with tissue or a velvet or cloth pouch to prevent
scratching. Diamonds can scratch one another if tossed in one
pouch or jewelry box especially when traveling.

Make sure jewelry boxes are adequate in size for your diamond
collection. Overcrowding can lead to bending fragile pieces or
chipping parts of a diamond or other precious stones.
